Nurlan Nigmatulin holds talks with his Belarusian counterpart Vladimir Andreichenko

Nur-Sultan, September 23. Mazhilis Chairman Nurlan Nigmatulin met with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko.

The Belarusian Speaker arrived in Kazakhstan to take part in the 4th meeting of speakers of Eurasian countries’ parliaments “Greater Eurasia: Dialogue. Trust. Partnership".

Nurlan Nigmatulin thanked his counterpart for participating in the parliamentary forum despite the electoral period in Belarus.

The Mazhilis Chairman also emphasized that Belarus is an important political, trade and economic partner of Kazakhstan, and Kazakh-Belarusian relations, including those at the inter-parliamentary level, are an example of constructive and fruitful cooperation.

Vladimir Andreichenko, in his turn, noted Kazakhstan’s major efforts to strengthen peace, friendship and harmony in the Eurasian space and beyond.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives focused on the special relations of the First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

Vladimir Andreichenko also expressed confidence in success of the 4th meeting of speakers thanks to the major preparatory efforts behind it.

The Chairman of the Mazhilis expressed confidence that cooperation between Kazakhstan and Belarus, both on a bilateral basis and within integration associations, will expand, given the mutual interests.
