Nurlan Nigmatulin holds a series of bilateral meetings with participants of the 4th meeting of speakers of Eurasian countries’ parliaments

Nur-Sultan, September 23. Mazhilis Chairman Nurlan Nigmatulin met today with the heads of delegations who arrived in Kazakhstan to take part in the 4th meeting of speakers of Eurasian countries’ parliaments “Greater Eurasia: Dialogue. Trust. Partnership".

In a conversation with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Cambodia, Heng Samrin, the Chairman of the Mazhilis said that a new stage is beginning in the history of interparliamentary contacts between Kazakhstan and Cambodia.

This is the first visit of the Cambodian Speaker to our country. Heng Samrin noted the similarity of the two countries' stance on the international agenda, while emphasizing that Kazakhstan is interesting and important for Cambodia as an economically developed and stable state.

Speaking about the 4th meeting of parliament speakers, the President of the National Assembly noted his support for the idea of ​​the parliamentary forum and willingness to strengthen inter-parliamentary dialogue.

Noting the potential for Kazakh-Cambodian bilateral cooperation, Nurlan Nigmatulin expressed interest in developing inter-parliamentary dialogue.
